Something cool I found is that using "?emulate=flash" at the end of a link that uses flash helps it by a large margin. There's a rare chance of this not working, but for the majority it helps the loading faster. I think the loading bar not showing is intentional since I used the ruffle extension for ~2 years and haven't seen it once. Must be a website only thing.
